I know what it’s like to have a voice in your head that never gives you a break.

For years, I held myself to impossible standards—especially around food, body, and productivity. I thought self-criticism was what kept me "on track." But really? It was just keeping me exhausted and disconnected from myself.

My journey with self-compassion began through my work in nutrition and dietetics, where I saw how harshly people spoke to themselves—and how that inner critic kept them stuck. I trained in positive psychology and self-compassion frameworks because I wanted to offer something different: a way to heal that didn't require more willpower or discipline, but genuine kindness.

Then came my own late diagnosis of Autism and ADHD. Suddenly, so much made sense—the masking, the burnout, the feeling of never quite getting it right. Self-compassion became even more essential as I learned to accept my neurodivergent brain and unlearn decades of internalized shame.

Here's the truth: I haven't mastered self-compassion. Some days that critical voice still shows up loud and clear. But self-compassion has genuinely changed my life—not by making everything perfect, but by giving me a way to be with myself through the imperfect, messy, human parts. It's an ongoing practice, and I'm still very much on the journey.

This program was developed by psychologists specializing in positive psychology and self-compassion research. My role? I'm here as your guide through it—someone who's walking this path too and understands how transformative these tools can be when they're presented in a way that feels accessible and real.

I've created the companion materials and community space to support you as you move through the evidence-based content at your own pace. You'll find my reflections, practical applications for everyday self-care struggles, and a space where you can connect with others if you choose.

I'm not standing here as someone who's "figured it all out." I'm here as someone who's experienced the real, tangible difference self-compassion can make—and who wants to walk alongside you as you discover what that might mean for your own life.

This program isn't therapy, and I'm not a mental health professional. But I am someone who understands the power of finding your kind inner voice—and the ongoing practice of actually using it.
